Toronto Real Estate Condo Market Statistics ? 4th Quarter 2011 ...

I?ve already blogged about the record pre-construction new condo sales in 2011. But as can be seen in the data, with more condos in the Toronto market? the resale market for condominiums is also growing and we have sold 5025 condos in 2011 in the last quarter compared to 4549 in 2010. ?

You will also notice the average price is also up which is expected with the over all price gains in the Toronto real estate housing market.

When you look at the chart you will see majority of the condos are sold in Toronto.. but you also have a good number sold in the Mississauga Square One region at 636 and Brampton second with 121 for the Peel region.

In York Region you have Vaughan at 171 units sold, Markham at 163 and Richmond Hill at 125.?

Not that much is happening in Durham region with Pickering selling 23, Ajax 18 and Whitby eking out 19.

For Toronto: ?we had 2296 condos sold in the C- Central zones.

In addition there were 693 condos sold in the west zones (west of Dufferin Rd. to East of Hwy 427, Etobicoke)?and to top it off we had 605 condos sold (east of the DVP and Scarborough)
